Becoming a part of an RTP Volunteer Committee means that mandatory meetings might arise, you could potentially be tasked with action items from the board, information or work might be deemed confidential, and/or you might be required to participate in setup|breakdown at the event! Please take these things into consideration before potentially over-committing.
